~ Electronic Statement Authorization ~
Recent changes in Arizona State Statute effective beginning January 1, 2020:  PLEASE READ THE BELOW IN ITS ENTIRETY!
The new state statute states the association is to issue a statement to its members in lieu of coupon booklets at the frequency of the fees due in the declaration; that frequency is annual.   The Board has elected over the years for issuances of coupon booklets as a means of keeping costs down.    State law now requires statement be mailed or a member may elect to receive statements via e-mail.  
As with everything; the cost of producing mail statements causes for the association to incur more costs for printing, supplies and postage to issue such statements; which in turns results in higher costs for the association and higher annual dues assessments to the members.    Help the association by signing up for E-Statements.
Some households have multiple e-mails and we need you to declare one if you sign up for E-statements.
Electronic Statement Authorization-Terms and Conditions:
Registering to receive the Electronic Statement, you will receive a statement via e-mail.   In lieu of the annual coupon booklet you will be issued an e-statement for your condominium account, any late notices and certain notifications within the community.
By accepting, you authorize Pointe Resort Condominiums at Tapatio Cliffs and Its agent to electronically deliver your account statements, late notices for your condominium account, newsletters, notices of annual meetings etc…other than any legal documents.    Exceptions to E-Statements would be any legal action for collection of dues or enforcement of the CC&R’s which will be sent by regular mail and before any legal action is taken, notice by certified mail, return receipt.
To Receive and Read:
To receive your Electronic statements, you will need the following:
·         An Internet email account and email address
·         To read electronic statements; you must have the latest Adobe Acrobat  Reader
Technical changes:
If these technical requirements change, we will notify you in writing. If future hardware/ software requirements prevent you from accessing your statements, you have the right to withdraw e-statement consent by sending a message to statements@desertmgmt.com.  After withdrawing e-statement consent, if in the future you wish to re-consent, you will be required to do so electronically.
It is recommended that electronic statements be printed or downloaded for permanent retention.

However, we shall incur no liability if we are unable to deliver your electronic disclosures and statements due to the extent of any one or more of the following circumstances: 1. Your equipment or Internet access was not working properly and should have been apparent to you, or 2. Internet service was interrupted due to traffic or other disruption, or 3. Circumstances beyond our control (including, but not limited to fire, flood, interruption of telephone service or other communication lines, interference from an outside force, legal restrictions or delays in mail service) prevent proper delivery, and we have taken every reasonable precaution to avoid these circumstances. To the extent permitted by applicable law or regulation, we hereby disclaim all other warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, and in no event shall we be liable for any special indirect, incidental or consequential damages. whatsoever resulting from the loss or use of data, whether or not advised of the possibility of such loss or damage. By clicking "Acceptance of E-Statements," below you agree to the terms and conditions of this Agreement and acknowledge your understanding of its terms. You consent to discontinue paper statements and receive electronic statements.

~ Insurance-New Carrier ~
New carrier for Hazard policy is now with American Family Insurance
The association carries a Master Insurance Policy.   The Policy has a $10,000 deductible.  Be sure to contact your agent to be sure your contents policy and liability covers any lapse in the Master policy and deductible.  The deductible will be applied to the claim and NOT paid by the HOA.    If you do not have coverage you are welcome to contact out agent for a quote.   Click here or call

~ Board Meetings ~
The Board meets monthly at 6:30 p.m. on the first Thursday of every month unless a holiday or rescheduled.   
Due to Covid 19 and unavailability of our normal meeting room; the Board will meet at the offices of Desert Realty Association Management 2432 W. Peoria Avenue #1180 Phoenix, Arizona 85029.  Start at 5 p.m.  Seating is limited so please plan accordingly and Face Mask Required per latest Governors Executive Order.
